VE day celebrations

It's a Bank Holiday today and we have no children in school today and it's another beautiful, sunny weekend.

This week in school the children have been learning about WW2 and the end of the war with VE Day 1945. The children have made bunting, union jacks and even had a little tea party yesterday afternoon.

I have seen some amazing research projects and learning on Seesaw this week, interviews, diary entries, art, posters, presentations and wartime cooking! Well done everyone.

I have continued painting this week, with some book characters in the library. I think I will continue to add to it next week.

I hope everyone enjoys the Bank Holiday weekend and we wait for the latest news on reopening schools from Boris on Sunday!
