We have reached the last day before the start of the Christmas holidays! The children have had a lovely week with Christmas parties and activities, even a very special visit managed to visit us too!

This morning we had our special Christmas carols together in the hall, Year 4 had their own private assembly afterwards! It is always a lovely way to end the term and think about the real meaning of Christmas.

For me, this is when it starts to feel like we are really close to Christmas, the candlelight and carols and the story of Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem. Next year, I really hope that we can make a return to having all our families, gathered together as we get ready to start the Christmas holidays.
