Young Voices 2023

This week has flown by! It's the last Friday in January, and we only have two more weeks until the half-term holiday!

We had a very exciting start to the week on Monday with our Key Stage Two Choir children singing at the O2. There were just over 9,000 children singing altogether. It was an amazing evening and a wonderful experience for the children to be part of something so big. It was a long day but all the children were fantastic. Our green hats certainly help to keep us all together in a crowd! We have had very positive feedback from families in the audience, it is days like this that I hope the children always remember. We are already looking forward to next year's concert!

Year 6 class has been back to Charterhouse this week for their second science workshop. It was physics this week which involved designing a parachute and car to protect an egg. The egg parachutes were launched from the rooftop, much to everyone's excitement! There were some eggsellent designs but not many surviving eggs!

We had a building meeting yesterday, and everything is running to plan. The more noisy work, and knocking through walls will be carried out during the half-term holiday. We have a few more spaces to clear before then. We are all pleased with how things are progressing.

Have a lovely weekend,

Elizabeth
