Well done Year 6!
It’s Friday again, the sun is shining, and another week has passed in a flash; we have only one more week until the half-term holiday. The children are dressed in their home clothes today and some will be going to the PSA film show after school.
This week our Year 6 children have taken their SATs tests. They worked really hard, and they did their very best during every test. The questions are not at all easy and the children have approached every paper with resilience and determination. I have been so impressed with how they have risen to challenges this year. Very well done Year 6. You can see the relief on their faces after their last test was completed!
We have also been talking about May, the month of Mary and talked about Mary’s life in preparation for our May Procession next Wednesday. Ladywell Chapel is very beautiful, and it is always very special to be in the chapel for this lovely celebration as a school family. We hope to have a dry sunny day for the procession and picnic!
Many of our Year 4 children will make their First Holy Communion this Sunday. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they make this important step in their spiritual journey.
Have a lovely weekend,
Elizabeth
