Parents' Forum
The Parents’ Forum acts as an important link between the leadership of the school and the parent body. It aims to facilitate dialogue between the school and home in order to gain parental opinion on school developments, celebrate successes and discuss concerns.
Each class has one or two representatives. The forum will meet regularly every half term and minutes of meetings are available on the website for parents.
Parents may be asked to propose agenda items in advance of the meeting. Topics for discussion may include issues relating to the long-term strategic direction or the smooth day-to-day running of the school. They could be issues which affect the whole school or a particular Year Group. Issues which solely affect individual children are more suited to a one-to-one discussion with the class teacher and should not be raised at the Forum.
