Pupil Premium Funding
Pupil premium is additional funding given to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and to close the gap between them and their peers. It is paid to schools according to the number of pupils who have been registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the last 6 years or been in care for 6 months or longer or adopted from local authority care.
Schools are free to spend the Pupil Premium as they see fit. However we will be held accountable for how we have used the additional funding to support pupils who qualify for Pupil Premium Funding. We are required to publish online information about how we have used the Premium. This will ensure that parents and others are made fully aware of the attainment of pupils covered by the Premium and the extra support that they receive. Please see the attched reports for details of funding and the impact funding has had.
